Custom Closets in Miami — Designed for Your Space, Built to Last

Walk-in closets, reach-in organizers, pantry systems, garage storage. In South Florida's humidity, the material your closet is built from matters as much as the design. We don't use particleboard-core systems and call them custom.

What We Build

Closet and Storage Systems for Every Space

Every system is designed for the specific space and how you actually use it — not pulled from a showroom floor and forced to fit.

Walk-In Closet Systems

Full shelving, hanging, and drawer configurations for master walk-in closets. Designed around your specific wardrobe and storage needs — not a generic module layout.

Reach-In Closet Organizers

Double-hang sections, shelving, and shoe storage for bedroom closets with swing or bi-fold doors. Maximizes every cubic foot in a limited footprint.

Pantry Systems

Adjustable shelving, pull-out baskets, and door-mounted organizers for kitchen pantries. Designed for actual pantry use — not repurposed closet hardware.

Linen Closets

Uniform shelving at appropriate depths for linens, towels, and supplies. Simple, functional, properly anchored.

Home Office Storage

Desk surfaces, filing drawers, and adjustable shelving for dedicated office or flex-room spaces.

Garage Storage Systems

Wall-mounted cabinetry, overhead storage racks, and slat-wall systems for garage organization. In South Florida, materials need to be moisture-resistant.

Why Material Matters in South Florida

Particleboard and South Florida Humidity Don't Get Along

Most big-box closet systems use particleboard cores with a thin laminate surface. In South Florida's 70–85% relative humidity, particleboard swells, the laminate separates, and the system fails — often within 5 years in coastal homes or rooms without consistent AC.

We build with plywood-core or solid wood components with moisture-resistant finishes. It costs more upfront. It's still in excellent condition 15 years later. That's the trade-off we make on every closet we build.

Our Process

From Consultation to Installation

01

In-Home Measurement

We measure every dimension of the space — including ceiling height, doors, electrical outlets, and any obstructions that affect the design.

02

Design Presentation

We present a design rendering of the proposed system with material and hardware options. You review, adjust, and approve before anything is ordered.

03

Fabrication

Components cut and finished to your exact specifications. Typically 1–2 weeks from design approval to ready-to-install.

04

Installation

Installed by our crew, not a third-party delivery team. Anchored to wall studs. Leveled. Cleaned up. Done in one day for most projects.

Common Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

How much do custom closets cost in Miami?

Cost depends on the size of the closet, the system material (melamine, plywood-core, solid wood), and the hardware selected — soft-close drawers, pull-outs, and valet rods all add to the total. We provide a free design consultation and written estimate. Call (786) 983-7928 to schedule.

What's the best material for custom closets in South Florida?

Plywood-core melamine or solid wood with a moisture-resistant finish outperforms particleboard-core systems in South Florida's humidity. Particleboard swells in humid conditions — especially in coastal areas or homes without consistent climate control. If you're investing in a custom closet system, the core material matters more than the surface finish.

Do custom closets add value to a home?

Generally yes — particularly walk-in closet systems in master bedrooms, which are consistently cited as a high-value feature by South Florida homebuyers. Pantry organization and garage storage also photograph well and appeal to buyers in a competitive market. The return isn't as calculable as a kitchen renovation, but it's a meaningful quality-of-life improvement that shows well at resale.

How long does custom closet installation take?

A single walk-in closet or reach-in system typically installs in one day. A full master closet with drawers and detailed hardware: 1–2 days. Whole-home closet projects covering multiple spaces: 2–4 days. We do an in-home measurement appointment first, then the design and estimate, then installation once you approve the design.

Do I need a permit for custom closet installation?

No — closet organizer installation is furniture-grade work and doesn't require a permit. If we're adding an electrical outlet inside a closet (for a jewelry drawer with lighting, for example), that's a separate electrical permit.

Can you work around an existing closet system I want to keep part of?

Yes — we can design around existing fixtures or components you want to retain. We'll assess whether mixing systems is practical or whether a clean install produces better results. Sometimes integrating old and new works well. Sometimes the old components create constraints that compromise the final design. We'll give you an honest assessment.
